Your sponsorship provides a provides a Blakelyn Foundation bereavement bag given to families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

Through our partnership with Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford, the Blakelyn Foundation is able to place these comfort bags directly into the hands of families during one of the most heartbreaking moments they will ever face.

Each bag is thoughtfully created to remind families that their baby’s life matters and that they do not have to walk through their grief alone.

Every bag includes a handmade crochet blanket and hat made by our founder, a calming eucalyptus and lavender scented soap from a local soap maker, and a journal and pen to provide a place for families to write their thoughts, memories and emotions as they navigate their grief.
